Plane Carrying Pete Hegseth Required to Land in UK Due to Fracture in Cockpit Window

An aircraft ferrying Pete Hegseth was forced to make an unplanned landing in the UK on Wednesday after a crack was discovered in the plane's windshield, per an announcement which stated that Hegseth was safe.

"The plane touched down in accordance with standard protocol and all individuals on the flight, among them Secretary Hegseth, is safe," an official representative stated in a online announcement.

He was traveling back from a brief trip to Brussels at the time.

This occurrence isn't the first occasion that a United States armed forces jet ferrying a top government figure has suffered technical problems.

In a previous incident this year, a US Air Force plane transporting Marco Rubio to the German city of Munich was forced to return to Washington DC after experiencing a mechanical problem.
