Trump's Family Member Seeks Professional Tips from Golf Legend Woods Before Professional Golf Debut

Emerging athlete getting ready for major competition

The rising star has considerable online presence

The young golfer can count on multiple prominent supporters when she starts her LPGA debut this Thursday.

The 18-year-old athlete, who is the granddaughter of Donald Trump, obtained a sponsor's invitation to participate at Florida's Annika event in Florida.

The former president, a passionate golfer, operates multiple international courses and frequently competes against Kai.

"He's quite skilled. I can't reveal details but we have some close matches," she revealed.

The golfer shared that her grandfather, unable to come, counseled her: "Simply avoid anxiety."

"He basically told me to play and enjoy myself," she explained.

"To me, he's simply a regular grandfather. He can't make it for the tournament. He's focused on running the country, so he's quite busy."

While still amateur, Kai has played in only three events in 2024 and has position 461 in AJGA rankings.

But she's able to get advice from Tiger Woods, in a relationship with Kai's mother.

"He is the top athlete globally," Kai expressed.

"Additionally, he's an even better individual. He advised me to go out there, enjoy myself, and go with whatever happens."

The golfer will compete against several top competitors in professional golf at the competition, including world number two the champion, England's golfer Hull, Lexi Thompson and last year's winner champion Vu.

Officials mentioned that involving Kai brings golf to wider groups, especially among younger fans.

Kai has a massive following and recently launched an exclusive fashion and living brand.

She begins at 5:30 PM GMT.
